Is it possible for an user who is not assigned to anything be able to view the boards? For example, my direct report is the CFO. This is part of my lean IT initiative, if she wants to see the boards even though she is not going to be directly on any of them is that possible to have an overview and would that take a license as well? Or only if you have access to manipulate and be placed on a board.
In KanBo we have 3 Groups of board users: Owner, Member and Visitor. Read more about user management.
In order to grant other persons' access to your board, click “Users“ in the panel to the left and then add users to one of the three permission levels.
Here is what they stand for:
- Owners can use all functionalities of the board.
- Members can use all features related to cards but they don‘t have any administrative powers like adding new users to the board or creating new lists.
- Visitors can see and open all elements but they cannot create or edit anything. They are able to write comments, though.
